Emulation of an automatic system
Process reliability and accuracy for your warehouse management system (WMS)
Every newly designed conveying system differs from the previous one and every customer has different requests and requirements. To make sure that the logistics processes work exactly as ordered by the customer, SSI Schaefer uses an emulation program. This program allows to test the planned flow of materials without any actual risks. This is a way to increase the safety of those involved in the project and promotes trustful cooperation.
In addition, this emulation program may be used as a tool for user training and also serves during so-called Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), which are done together with the customer.
The emulation program illustrates the processes inside the warehouse and the interaction of background processes, work dialogues and operational processes. The system therefore becomes accessible for both designers and users, even before it goes into service.
