"Intelligent Warehousing Solution” Seminar in Sri Lanka

Over 300 customers attended the above seminar held at the Galadari Hotel in Colomobo, Sri Lanka. The event was planned by Schaefer appointed distributor, Diesel & Motor Engineering (DIMO), in conjunction with the launch of a new forklift truck which they were also promoting.

Mr. Anthony Loh, Export Manager of SSI SCHAEFER APAC operations, presented on the importance pre-planning in order to maximize overall storage capacity and reduce costs for new warehouses. An introduction of SSI SCHAEFER's existing range of products, including the various pallet racking and shelving systems, pick modules as well as the latest automation technologies, had also received positive feedback from the attendees.

The seminar was held from 7.00pm till 10.30pm on 7^th Nov 2007. In addition to the speeches, the attendees were also presented with some actual mock-up displays of the SCHAEFER racking system and Komatsu lift trucks.
