Kerry Ingredients Gets 100% Selectivity

SSI SCHAEFER Thailand has recently been commissioned by Kerry Ingredients to design and install the warehouse storage system in its new 1,710m2 facility located in the Bangpoo Industrial Estate, Samutprakarn – about 29 kilometers south of Bangkok, Thailand.

The proposal will give 100% selectivity in terms of inventory storage and control for Kerry’s raw materials and finished goods.

Kerry Ingredients is one of the largest and most technologically advanced ingredients company in the world, producing thousands of application specific ingredients for the food and beverage industry. Due to the nature of its business, there are numerous product SKUs^* that Kerry Ingredients maintain on a day-today basis, meaning space optimization and product selectivity are two equally paramount factors in its warehousing philosophy.

SSI SCHAEFER Thailand will commence installation of the new storage system for Kerry Ingredients in September 2009. 

* Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) is an identification of a particular product that allows it to be tracked for inventory purpose. It is commonly seen in the companies such as Kerry Ingredients with wide range of products.
