SSI Schaefer participated in the ICE 2009

SSI Schaefer participated in the ICE 2009, India’s first cold storage construction, refrigerated warehousing, logistics and transportation event at the Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi on 11th and 12th November 2009.

The objectives of ICE 2009 were to accelerate harmonization towards improvement between cold store-centric industries, by & large, in the production centers and some export oriented integrated cold chain complete models, knowledge sharing about the industry, and also to create a  platform for business networking to provide opportunities for Indian as well as international players.

SSI Schaefer’s mobile racking unit was the highlight of the show with onsite product introduction and demonstrations. During the pre-lunch session, Mr. Xavier Perello Pairada also gave a presentation on the topic of “Solutions for efficient & clean cold storage warehousing”, which emphasized on the company’s advanced optimized warehouse solutions for temperature-controlled logistics. Over 150 guests attended the seminar, the response was satisfying with some good leads were generated.

The ICE 2009 was the only exhibition and networking event in India for cold storage industry. More than 500 participants including warehouse owners, equipments and service suppliers, transporters, retailers and consultants joined the event.
