SSI SCHAEFER Stands Out @ CeMAT Asia 2008

SSI SCHAEFER China showcased its latest material handling technologies and storage solutions at CeMAT Asia 2008. The exhibition was held from 27 - 30 October at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China.

The 4-days event gathered close to 400 exhibitors from 24 countries worldwide and generated over thousands of visitors each day. The 10,000 sq meters exhibition centre was a huge platform for intra-logistics fair, featuring cutting-edge technologies in warehousing solutions and material handing equipments. Overall the event was a huge success, receiving overwhelming responses from both local and international visitors.

In order to demonstrate its latest technologies, SSI SCHAEFER China specially brought in its electrical mobile racking demo unit from Europe to illustrate the advanced products features and benefits onsite. The system denotes an innovative way of storage space maximization and cost saving, especially in temperature-controlled environment such as the cold stores. Incidentally, the new Longspan LS600 shelving system was also on display for visitors who were interested in economic shelving solutions.

CeMAT Asia 2008 is organized by Deutsche Messe - based in Hanover, Germany in cooperation with its Chinese partner associations. Deutsche Messe develops plans and runs trade fairs and exhibitions in Germany and abroad.

After the Shanghai event, SSI SCHAEFER will also be participating in the upcoming CeMAT India held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, India, from 10 -13 December 2008. For more information about the new exhibition, please click here.
