AS/RS System for Daily Foods Thailand

SSI SCHAEFER Thailand is working together with Menam Mechanika to create a special 22-meter tall Automated Storage & Retrieval System (AS/RS) in a portal framed building. The new AS/RS system will be employed by Daily Foods Co., Ltd to store its instant food products.

Founded more than 30 years ago, Daily Foods Co. is an established manufacturer and distributor of food and beverage products in the Thai market. Its product range span from canned vegetables, fruit juices, condensed milk to packaging labels. While most of them are produce and marketed by Daily Foods under their in-house brand names, other specialty items were imported from countries such as Spain and New Zealand.

Currently under installation, the new 9,000 pallet locations project located at Bangchan Industrial Estate is expected to be completed in Jan 2009.
